| If your driving down I-75 and you are halfway between Atlanta and Orlando
you will find yourself in South Georgia. Time to take a break. If you like
motorcross then book a motel room in Adel, Hahira or Tifton-just off I-75.
Valdosta is the largest town on I-75 in South Georgia. No problem finding
a motel of hotel here. You can find everything you need in Valdosta and
with a dash of southern hospitality. Heading South you will find yourself
in Lake Park Georgia, the last town before getting into Florida. Book a
motel or hotel room in Lake Park and visit the Lake Park Outlet mill stores,
Wild Adventures and play a round of Golf. The course is just off I-75 behind
the mill stores. Of course there is more to South Georgia than the towns
up and down I-75. To the east of Valdosta you have Waycross. A great place
to get a motel and then visit the Okefenokee Swamp. And then there is the
coast of Georgia, from beautiful Savannah to Cumberland Island. Brunswick
is a great place to get a motel and then visit the nearby islands. It is
sometimes call the “Gateway to the Golden Isles”. To the west
of I-75 you have Albany, Thomasville and of course Jimmy Carters home town
of Plains near Americus. So sit down, put your feet up and stay awhile. |
